DPF Cleaners

Hey guys,
Just interesting to know if someone here tried DPF cleaning products such Wynns or Millers? I had few TDI with DPF in past but current 1.6 tdi does my head in with constantly regening DPF. My driving is mainly town, with a lot stop starts. I have bought today Wynns DPF cleaner and taking car for long trip 400 miles, but wanted to know if its worth occasionally adding DPF cleaner to fuel?
