I am liking the idea of a Touran over my Estate, trouble is I have no idea which are the ones to avoid, the one I am looking at is a 1.9PD 2004, I have yet to get the engine or BHP codes as I haven't looked at it yet, don't really want to bother looking at lemons, so what am I looking for?
Trying to avoid engines that suffer, injector/loom failure, conrod failure, oil pump hex key failure and any other common failure attributed to the later engines.
I know there are 1.9/2.0 in various flavours, 90, 105, 140 and 170 variants and I don't want DPF.
Any advice would be helpful.
Touran Diesel, which one?
