Updating Maps and Firmware

My 2012 CC has this headunit
The maps are the original ones from when the car was new.
On my Audi S5 I was able to update the operating software and install new discs (bought OE from the Main Dealer for not a lot of money)
I'd like to do the same on the CC. I don't want to do a download and burn to a disc, i'd rather buy and do a plug n play.
Is there a procedure I've not found yet (I have done a search but there's too much to wade through, with a lot of outdated misinformation)
What are my options to those more knowledgeable?
