Hello chaps,
I'm new here, currently without a VW but on the lookout for a Syncro Estate.
We've had Passat's before as our main family car: B3 2.0 Saloon and B5 1.8T Estate. Both of which piled on the miles with very little fuss or drama.
The wifey runs around in a 2.0TD Seat Toledo and I do most of my miles on 2 wheels, but there are occasions when I need 4 wheels: picking up kids, carrying the dogs, buying more beer than I can fit in the bike's panniers, and of course doing the 80 mile round trip to work when snow/ice is around.
So I need 4 wheels, preferably all of them driven - cos it's not the getting snowed in and being unable to go to work that worries me, but the thought of being snowed in AT work!!
So rather than buy another traditional 4x4 I thought I'd chance my arm with a Passat estate in 4wd form.
