It was already lowered, sitting on RS4's, standard 110BHP and for a while i was happy with this. Then the bug got me.....
1st on the list was a re-map...to 140Bhp, and more torque. Thanks to John @ Big fish tuning for doing the honours.
New chrome grille fitted, to match my anticipated chrome wheels for the summer

Next up was the Timing belt and water pump replacement. Whilst working away in Sheffield I'd got talking to a lad, who has his own garage and specialises in VW/Audi/BMW. He offered to do my belt and pump at 'mates rates' if i helped him, so i gladly offered my services. With a few cans of lager in hand we set to it, and done the lot within 2 hours! Massive shout out to Kav for that!

Next I'd noticed an annoying rattling coming from the front struts, and the handling seemed more loose, and less responsive. So I came to the conclusion the front shocks had given up, and the car needed some new struts, so i decided to get a complete set of new coilies, front and back, even tho there wasn't anything wrong with the backs at the time.....if the fronts had gone, i was presuming the backs weren't too long to follow, and my judgement was right, as the new ones were installed, One of the old rear shockers leaked oil as i was packing it away, so i'd made the right decision to replace the lot!
The front top shock mounts had worn badly also, so a new set was ordered and replaced.

The RS4 rims were now lookin tatty and kerbed, and with the summer fast approaching a new set of rims were needed. 'ChrisR's Wagon is a favourite of mine on here, I loved the Euro look of it, and so it swayed me into purchasing a set of Merc alloys (not knowing the hassle I was letting myself in for, to get these fitted!!) near on 2 months in total to finally get them on, what with needing spacers and longer bolts etc. A hard lesson i've now learnt! I was expecting to fit them straight on, with no hassle! How naive I was, looking back now. But the end result was worth it in my opinion.

With the wheels fitted, I've since had to buy thinner spacers for the fronts, so as i can keep it pretty well slammed without shredding my new 'Toyo Proxes4' tires on the arches.

Recently had a new K&N induction kit fitted, courtesy of 'Opie Oils' giving me around an extra 10Bhp (estimated) Its noticeable anyway! And has a sweeter more menacing sound when I give it some boot!
