Has anyone had any success removing the trim covers on the B-pillar without wrecking them?
Mine were removed a few years back when it was painted but got rather bent in the process as it turns out they are glued on as well as the pop rivet at the bottom.
I have the chance to remove a pair from a car being broken to try and replace my bent ones. The car looks fine without them but the outer door seals don't work as well which leads to damp rear footwells.
I'm thinking liberal application of a heat gun might help to soften the glue but has anyone else attempted this?
