B3/4 Cruise Control Retrofit?

Since i've done the Coventry-Devon-Coventry trip every weekend since the start of the year now, i'm really liking the idea of cruise control in the B3.
My car has a fly by wire 1Z from a 96 B4, with the original B3 dash.
Having a quick search this kit is available from America:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-VW-O ... 1e70378750
I'm still waiting for a reply back from them, theres lots of mixed info on the web, and finding parts like these has confused me:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-PASSAT-B3- ... 1e95e0dd99
However i believe the above item would be for petrol cars that require the control system fitting to the throttle?
It looks like B4 1Z cruise control is a case of the correct stalk and loom to the fuse board, then its a case of getting it switched on using vagcom? Can anyone confirm this?
I would ofcourse source a Corrado/B3 cruise stalk so thats correct, they look like the same wiring.
