Wheel Question

I currently have a Passat B5.5 4motion TDI on an 04 plate and it has a set of 16" Audi alloys on it. I believe they are fitted on the Audi A4 B6 Quattro as standard. They look okay but a while ago I bought a set of Audi (ronal) S-Line 5 Spoke 18x8 (et43 I think) alloys to fit some day.

I have a couple of questions....

What alloys would have originally have been fitted to my car ? sizes & pics would be a great help :wink:

If I was to splash out on tyres for the 18" S-line alloys, what size should I be fitting and would these wheels be okay for a 4motion ? I would like a beefier wheel set up but not if it ruins the handling or puts strain on the 4wd system.

I'm relatively new to the world of passats so would welcome your thoughts.
