got an avf with piston scoring, very slight.. wondered if this would be anything to worry about on the bottom end, im getting the head remanufactured anyway so that wont be an issue
im thinking of replacing piston rings while the heads off but wondered how tough these short engines were and if there was any point in having it cleaned, decarbonised and checking conrods pistons etc..
reckon theres a chance the piston could have a hairline crack with scoring like that?
