Yesterday i changed a few temp senders on the car after having issues with the dash instruments. All is working fine now however i wanted to drain the system fully and replace fully.
I topped up the system with G12 and water as needed and waiting for the thermostat to open to get a flow of water around the engine and then top up the expansion tank.
However this did not happen and after 45 mins driving the bottom hose is still stone cold along with the water in the expansion tank. Surley this cannot be right. Never had over heating problems.
Should i stop driving it, will it do any damage to the engine even though its not getting hot?
