Angle of exhaust

H all.. I've had a quick look through the search function but couldn't see nowt.. I have a b5.5 130 tdi and basically I wanna remove that massive centre box they have.. But for now I just want to stick a pipe in till I have a full system done.. So my question to you guys is, does anyone know the angle of pipe I will need to do this and secondly what's the diameter of the standard exhaust.. Thanks in advance, dan
