Looking for input from anyone who has see the wiring in the footwell to the CCM on a B5.5.
I have recent got a B5.5 and it came with known faults, one of which was the typical CCM controlled equipment playing up, So i have made a start at lifting the carpet etc. and sorting it out.
Now i have done the job on a few B5's and know what im looking for, but what i have found has taken me aback a touch.
Normally id go straight for the taped up joints and find the join corroded and crumbling, but on this little poppet i have the same bundles joined with resin filled clear plastic joiners.
So my issue is this: Are these joiner the updated version used by VW to protect the joins better, or has someone been in trying to fix the issues in the past and failed
