AVF turbo loss

Post by vdub_dan »

Hi all, the other day I started to get delayed boost (around 2.5k, car is remapped and usually comes in about 1500) intermittently, other times would be same as normal. Then the following day it would be at 2.5k or 3.5k!! Or not at all this was paired with poor brakes (hard pedal). I'm now at the point where it's constantly not at all.. :( Which leads me to think its a vacuum issue, however all vacuum pipes look ok, I've checked turbo actuator functionality and rod movement- all ok

Also no faults stored in memory when checked

I know these are prone to maf, map and n75 problems but with not much to work with I don't fancy playing process of elimination.

I was just wondering if anyone has had the same issue with similar symptoms, and if they could point me in the right direction

Thanks in advance, dan
