Clutch upgrade

Morning all.. My AVF is remapped (roughly 170bhp) and my clutch is slipping again although it was only changed about 2500 miles ago, it's had a new genuine clutch and clutch master cylinder. So clearly I'm gonna need to upgrade the clutch. My question to you all is, has anyone tried fitting the v6 2.5tdi clutch to there AVF 6speed as both clutches are 240mm? I'm just thinking its a cheaper route than performance and should be able to handle the power? I just don't know whether the input shaft diameters are the same..
