Retro fit cruise control.

Post by Marty-g »

Hi all, I am new to the forum, and I'm liking what I'm seeing! Some of your cars are what I dream of mine looking like!

I've owned my estate for just under two years and she's never let me down, I absolutely cannot fault it, great car. It came with a few goodies ie half leather half alcantara,(heated) factory fit xenons, tinted rear windows, but no cruise control. I've purchased a retro fit kit(vw) and was wondering if anyone had done this before? What I want to know is do you have to remove the steering wheel, as I'm concerned about airbags going off? Or is it a bit more straightforward?

By the way it's a 130 tdi sport. I look forward to hopefully good news, thanks, martin.
