Help required after engine swap

Hello all. Wife's pd130 needs a new clutch etc so I took the opportunity to swap the engine for a low mileage one when I was at it. Now the new engine runs fine but a lot less power and a softer noise. almost like a 105bhp. Original was an AVF and the donar was an A4 And of the same year. Turbo and all the ancillary bits are from the original unit. New belt was fitted and synchro angle is -1. Could the injectors but different. It had a 240mms clutch so I think it's an avf. Any help appreciated.
