Passenger Door Intermittently Not Unlocking

Hi,

Been awhile since I've been on but as expected its a cry for help thats brought me back...

Unlocking with the fob I'm finding that my passenger door of my 2004 B5.5 Estate is intermittently not unlocking, of course the first thing I do is lean over and use the internal handle which when pulled makes the door knob pop up but the door still doesn't open and upon releasing the handle the door knob retracts again.

After some fiddling with the remote, pulling and pushing on the door it'll unlock and then will intermittently not lock. Then once in awhile it will be fine (but not often).

Just as a matter of course I've replaced the fob battery and haven't had the issue on any other door.

Does anyone have any insight?
