I've seen quite a few W reg TDi S spec's with "Computer" in the wording, as well as climate control. I always though S spec didnt have a trip computer is this not the case? Could it be a case of mistaken identity? as I dont even know of any markings on the cars to signify if its an S, SE, SEL, or Sport.
