Carbon Vinyl Wrapping Pics!

Post by Stampers »

So yeah, as the title says really.
Throw up your Carbon Vinyl wrapping pictures in here.
I'm interested to see who has wrapped what, and using what colour of carbon wrap.

I saw BigRay's carbon vinyl wrap on his centre console a while back...

...And i thought It looked pretty dam good.
As my Net-optic trim was looking a bit dated, I thought I'd give it a go.
Not as hard as it would seem, it's just making sure that you have the weave the correct way around.

Here's my pics of what I did last week...

The drivers handle (now this was pretty fiddly)...

The passengers handle (the rear handles are done in the same way)...

And the centre console (ignore the aircon surround, I wrapped it with the weave going in the wrong direction, and the surround will be changed back to a black plastic one to keep the equal dimesnions and as it seems like too much carbon)...

I used black 3M di-noc stuff (it looks silvery due to the light bouncing off it). Definately recommend it!
The handles and dash fascia are pretty easy to remove. But when doing the ashtray you have to remove the whole centre console to get at it. Definately a pain in the bum, but if you want it done properly, then don't cut corners!

Anyone else got any pics?
