Alarm/interior lights problem

Post by Grinder »

As I posted before I have a problem with my Alarm/interior lights which I though I had fixed.... But its back :(
The problem:-
Alarm goes off keyfob then becomes inoperative.
putting key in ignition then silences alarm.
Putting key in and starting engine then puts out interior lights as normal.
After a short time doors sound as thou there trying to lock and interior lights come on and the door locking switch on drivers arm rest (the one that locks unlocks all the doors) becomes inoperable.
stoppin the engine and taking key out and then restarting resets every thing and the cycle starts again
It can go for a day or three and be fine.
Iv scanned it with the the following results:-

00849 - S-contact at Ignition/Starter Switch (D)
25-00 - Unknown Switch Condition
01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors
36-00 - Open Circuit

I have checked for voltage at s contact on Ignition switch and its ok
battery and charging voltages are ok
all doors are operating as they should using measuring blocks in vag com
plen drains are clear.
no door open appear on dash when doors are closed only when open.
I looked at ccm and under carpet was dry but on opening black box the was a little water in there which had cause a little greenness(?) on the big plug but the terminals were fine.
opened up ccm circuit box and inside was dry and like new.
sorry this was so long but im running out of things to check now.
anyone any clues?

Thanks
Paul
