which lowering spring

hi , got a 2002 b5.5 sport estate ... was happy with height untill i changed the dampers all round ... fitted bilsteins oem ... was pleased with result .. but realised after a few weeks that the front end hadnt settled down ... think ive been supplied with standard dampers not sport ones .. been told that along with springs being 15mm lower that the front dampers also have the spring plate/cup lower but not by much ... hence instead of the car sitting with a slight nose down stance .. the font end sits up slightly .. not as high as a se but higher than it should ... so was thinking of lowering it now .. so do i need springs to suit a sport or se ? 30 mm drop would be nice ... carry loads and speed bumps are bad hear ...so think 40mm might be too much?
