I`ve read you must use a specific kind of oil for these engines, is this true?
I`ve the 115bhp lump on 235k miles, I`ve just reset the service reminder cos I`m skint and the beeping reminder was getting on my nerves, but now I`m worried that this may have been done before so, was gonna change my own oil and save a couple of quid, especialy as I`ve just seen the cost of `vw specific` oil in halfords!
