Just sanded/polished my headlights and a few questions

As above, headlights on my B5.5 were badly fogged. Started by sanding them down with some P1200 wet and dry, spraying on some watered-down detergent at the same time. Then repeated with P1500. I then applied a layer of t-cut and buffed it off with a drill buffer (which was ok but the buffing cloth kept on slipping), so then re-applied the t-cut and removed by hand. I then polished them again with some Meguiars Scrath-X and finally applied some plastic polish.

Going to repeat it again as the're not quite as sparkly as I want! Any tips on where I can get a decent buffer wheel ie ebay?

Also any other tips/comments on how I've done it?!
