help with engine codes

hi all got an engine lined up for car just need to pick peps brains.my engine code is agz for a 2.3 v5
and i have seen a few with same code but in mk4 golfs and seats can these one fit in my sat.
just going to be bare engine as all my old gubbins going onto it , if anyone can help much love will be
heaped on them cheers
