Can seem to find the answer to this using search. My 1999 Passat has a ODB port but i can work out which cable would fit it. Will a standard ODB2 cable fit it or do i need something else? I want to buy a cheap one on ebay and use my laptop with some downloaded freeware. Can anyone recommend a cable or what cable i need to purchase?
