I have a 2001 TDi Sport which has the CD changer in the boot but in the cabin (from top to bottom) I have heater, radio/tape deck and then a space. Rather than buying an after market cd player, I'd like to add the VW in dash cd player/changer that are in later Passat models. So my question is, how can I do it? Would I need to swap the whole of the centre console (ie, heater and radio) or can something be added into the space? Or any other suggestions?
