B5.5 uneven rear tyre wear

I am preparing the car for an MOT, 110k miles, just bled four brakes. I noticed the rear nearside tyre has worn badly on the inner side. There is something noisy on the suspension, I am not sure what bit though. All the front suspension arms/links were renewed two years ago. I am wondering whether it is the nearside rear shock or the beam bush, or even more extreme, the nearside front C link? Any suggestions on how to check these items? Or what else could cause the tyre wear like it does?
