LSD available for FWD 1.9D?

I was in a grassy car park area last night. My wheels had sunk slightly into sloppy mud.

So the NS front spun and the OS didn't move. I managed to get the car out after a few minutes, but it prompted me to do a little research into differentials. Now I understand LSD and open diffs.

I know it's expensive but I wondered if there were LSDs made for all vehicles or if they were small bulk ordered for cars known for performance tweaking, like VR6s for example.


Does anyone know of companies that sell them or if they are made to order?.

I'm asking because I've decided to keep the 5.5 and follow the route of Karl (desertstorm).
