Help with clutch slave cylinder

Post by brokenroads »

Hi all, I have, with much struggling and cursing, replaced the clutch on my 2.0 20v, on my front garden, on axle stands...I do not recommend it!! However, I am finding it hard to get the clutch slave back into the box, it is under alot of pressure when inserting it and I simply cannot get the bolt lined up while squeezing it in there, partially due to access, and while I am apparently strong enough to handle the gearbox, I am not strong enough for this :esm does anyone have a tip for me, any way of 'latching' it shut while installing like an auto tensioner for belts etc?
