Ok so got the thermostat changed while doing the outer cv joint all went well, unless you count hearing that the drivers side cv joint is clicking too! I just couldn't hear it as the passenger one was so bad, typical.
Anyway thermostat got changed and heater is putting out warmth when stationary (which it did anyway) but also when driving (which it didn't) however I'm now getting no temperature reading at all on the dash so I'm guessing sensor could be shot?. Where is it in my engine bay (1.8t '99) please?.
Side note I also fitted a boost gauge what should it read under full load? I'm getting a smidge over .5 bar according to the gauge.
