CAN Instrument Cluster Decode help

I don't have a Passat, but I do have a set of Passat clocks (3B0920925A) that I'd like to be able to use in another vehicle. I only need to be able to drive the 4 gauges, and once I know what's needed it'll be no problem to generate whatever CAN stream I need to make this happen.

So far I've powered the dash up and captured the following messages:
320h @ 40Hz
420h @ 5Hz
520h @ 5Hz
5D0h @ 10Hz
5D8h @ 10Hz
so everything is awake and alive.

Since I don't have a car I can't sniff the bus myself, I'd probably be up and running by now if I had.

I think the instrument cluster is on the powertrain data bus? Has anyone either got some simple instructions for me to follow, or a capture of what's going on on that bus?
