After a bit of help please. The DBW throttle on my 2001 AWT 1.8T has started playing up over the last few days. I'm driving along normally and all of a sudden the car loses all drive, then comes back if I push the clutch down and give it a rev. The engine's still running but I have no throttle. It can happen in any gear too. The car has no problem starting up and idling and drives well and pulls fine. I've got the feeling it's a sensor problem and heard things like the TPS or brake light switch being the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
