Hey guys,
Owned my b5, 130pd estate for a year in Feb so it's the first time I've taken it through proper cold winter weather.
Also I've driven around in a petrol MK1 golf for 9 years so diesels are a bit foreign for me!
So some morning l's its been cranking over a lot longer then it should to start, sometimes having multiple goes at it, drive it work and it leave it for a few hours (until lunch) or after a short journey and it fires up again fine.
That makes me think the starter is fine, and I've had it cranking for a while before it's started, which makes me think the battery is fine as well.
So I'm guessing it's either the glow plugs or some electronics to do with them, any suggestions before just changing all the plugs?
Cheers guys
Si
