Nsr door won't open

Hi
My nsr door wont open from the inside, will from the outside. MOT due soon so need to get it sorted. My mate mechanic managed to lube and work it free a couple of months ago but has now gone back to not working again. Booked in nxt thurs for diag, unless you can help so I can buy the part before I take it in.
