Looking under the bonnet, there don't appear to be any wires going to the washers, so can only assume that they are not heated. My 23 year old Golf has heated washes FFS. Another thing to retro fit by the looks of it.

Sport. No heated washers?
I was amazed this morning when my washers were frozen at just -1 degrees. When they did finally come to life, the mixture looked a bit watery, so I'll keep topping it up with neat solution until I have a decent ratio in there, but that won't stop the tips of the washers from freezing.

2004 V6 TDI gone and replaced with a 2011 TDI Sport DSG which has gone too.
