Strange suttle bong from speakers while driving

Strange suttle bong from speakers while driving

Currently on a road trip in France and this eve when driving around the Pyrenees i got a suttle bong coming from the speakers that happened every 10 mins or so. Bit uneasy being so far from home. No warning lights etc, any ideas?
2017 Passat 240ps(288bhp) ;-)
