Nervous about remapping 140bhp Passat (2011)

Hi,

Ive not fully searched the forum yet for this, sorry if im repeating a question.

Im considering remapping my 2011 2.0 140BHP TDI Bluemotion, the main reason for this is im a caravanner and 5th and 6th become useless!

Im always one for buying a car and keeping it standard so im a bit nervous about this thought!

I dont want extra speed, just torque and MPG!

I think the remaps will take it to 180BHP, is it safe?! any recommendations of companies?

I understand its an ECU removal job?!
