error code P012100 trottle /pedal pos.sensor a cir.range/per

Hi to all
i have a vw b7 passat 2012 diesel CFFB VIN NO = WVWZZZ3CZCP051134
blue motion tec.and the problem i have when had to take my car back to the
dealers for a free what ever they did they did not say but i think it eas
something to do with a up grade to do emisions ??
since they done what ever ? when i scan with obd11 i have been
getting a fault code ( P012100 Trottle/Pedal Po.Sensor A
Circ.Range/Performance static ) this fault has been turning up for 12 months
and scan evey few days and clear the fault!! what i would like to know is
there any way to clear this perminant. ???
as there are no problems with the driving of the car it just that it there
and its driving me mad.
