front brakes upgrade

Hi all,
im looking to put better calipers on my Passat.
I've heard that the 4 pot calipers from a Audi Q5 (320mm disk) will fit without any modification / adaptor
a direct swap for the single pot oem front calipers 312mm disk.
anyone know if this is correct ?
or has a better solution ?
