Normally I can take or leave dance music etc etc, mostly leave, but these guys I like.
Latest Album I just got hold of.
Israeli in origin, its really hard to categorise them, which is what I like in some music.
Hugely prolific they produce vast amounts of stuff, which is good.

Re: Infected mushroom
Thats the thing with Psychedelic Trance, it can differ by quite a bit. Goa is the more chilled out less hard stuff. I prefer it to be a bit more rocking and harder. Something like Dark Soho is the darker harder stuff. Dont judge the genre on one "type", as i say tracks can differ quite a lot
Laptop speakers dont do the track above any justice, through proper speakers the bass line it alot better.

Re: Infected mushroom
I tend to like what I like Usually I cant stand most forms of pure electronic music because its so much damn prosaic repetitive nonsense.
What I mean is with any genre I can like all of an album but more commonly only as little as 1 song, Im more of an Industrial fan usually and those guys were ahead of everyone using the technology, even dance music
I like mushroom because they dont conform, they sort of fit in the genre because some people need labels but they tend to set trends more than they follow and they arent afraid to change, and the tracks are sometimes long and complex rather than chorus and repeat, chorus and repeat no longer than 5 mins please - mark of good musicians that theyll find new things rather than trade on the same old sound and image like mass manufactured false pop rubbish the world is infected with now.
As you may be able to tell I dont like the happy hapy contrived image of mass modern music lol, If I put some of my industrial likes it would probably scare some people, as it is the darkest music of all

Re: Infected mushroom
Im completely with you on the pop industry thing... i hate all pop/RnB music that all the radio seems to play.. very few "bands" on the radio anymore.

Re: Infected mushroom
Wow, just listened to a couple of tracks and this is a great find.
I'm usually a downtempo man myself, but this I like!
Also who isn't stopping for the bird on the hear me now track? Mrs Nightshade can sit in the back
*Sorry, this is an old thread
