I've had my 2009 VW Passat 2.0 TDi Highline DSG for about two weeks, having purchased it from VW dealer "Lookers" at Middlesbrough.
I read on here a few threads about high tyre pressures in Passat tyres, so despite only just getting car, I checked the fuel filler cap for recommended pressure which for my car with 235 x 45 x 17 tyres, is stated as 36psi all round, but I was surprised to find them all set at 30psi. Way too low.
I've bumped them up to 37psi and I'm having a run over to the lakes and back next week so a few hundred miles should show how they perform. I thought it was a bit wallowy but I thought that was because I've just changed from a sports Coupe with stiff suspension. It seems not.
