Hi,
I've recently fitted a VW RNS510 unit to my 2009 tdi highline. When I took the surrounding trim off I unclipped the connector for the passenger airbag light and now I have put eveything together the passanger airbag warning light has come on. I have a scanning tool and it has found the fault (code 01578). I can remove the code but will this reset the airbag. It's a family car and obviously don't want to drive around in a car with no airbag. Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received.
