When my car is driven most of the time is town driving, so not much time for the DPF regenerate. Also the car can be weeks parked outside my house. So today after two weeks not using it I notice some smoke coming from the exhaust. Can I add the dpf was regenerating since at idle the revs were around 1k. So the smoke isn't white or black, more of a grey colour. Only comes up when under load at slow speeds, like four gear at 35mph. At speed it's fine.
So a question to you all. Can you get smoke when the dpf is regenerating?
I hope so otherwise I don't want to think it could be.
Thank you
