B6 air con temperature

Hello!

What's people's opinions on the passats air con temperature? I had mine re gassed a year ago, can't remember what it was like then but it doesn't seem ice cold.

My old vectra used to get icy cold but my passat is just cool ish!

It's working but just not great. I can hear hissing when first turning it on and off but believe that's common?

I have vcds if that might tell me anything?
