Hi Chaps
A bit of a wierd one which makes me chuckle everytime I find a new way of making the heater fan vibrate
I have a Passat Sport TDI 2.0 SG6 (06 plate)
It all started last year when I was reversing my car, all of a sudden the fan from the heater started to vibrate, I turned the blower off then back on with the vibration still there. Turning the engine off and on resolved the problem. from then on I always remember to turn off the blowers when reversing.
Fast forward to today, below are a list of situations where the vibration now appears,
1. When reversing
2. When using the window washers
3. When using the recirculate air button
4. When the left climate control is adjusted below 18 degrees
All are resolved by turning the engine off and on, whilst im now use to it im baffled as to what can cause it, I mean come on what does using the window washers have to do with the cab heater controls??????
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated to solve this wierd mystery
Thanks Chizzle
