Rear Caliper carrier cleaning

Post by J1MMCD »

Carrying on from my other thread about changing the back pads I’ve managed to finally get the siezed slider out from the Caliper carrier (it’s totally müllered!)

So new sliders on order along with a new Caliper and motor (can probably fix Caliper but for now I’m fed up messing with it) so my question is does anyone have any recommendations for tools and methods of cleaning out the slider guide pin hole?

Remembering the car is on an axle stand on a driveway and not higher up on a workshop ramp (unfortunately!)

I also have the tools to replace the carrier if need be t then problem is the bolts holding the carrier on are absolutely solid too and will probably need to be a garage job to remove.
