oil pump recall advice

Just been trying to find out some history on my car - as a lot of the paperwork has been lost..

I've noticed a few people on here mentioned about oil balance shaft etc

apparantly there was a recall done on some passats - best bet is to call your local dealer and ask the service dept to check

I've asked and mine apparantly wasnt one of the batch that have been recalled - for a 5 min phone call, defo worth a check
