koni lowering springs

Hi guys,
Has anyone got any experience with Koni lowering springs on their passat? Preferably a B6.
I was going to get some H&R springs but in shopping around I've found the Koni ones a lot cheaper.
I had Koni springs on my astra and they were good, just want to see how they are on a passat before I get some.
Also does anyone know how a Koni 40mm drop compares with an H&R 40mm from as they arnt always the same in my experience.
