getting the most of your remap

My friend is about to get his 2008 a4 2.0 tdi remapped. Bkp engine code iam sure.

I know its not a b6 but it shares the same engine.

He is going for a proper remap, and before he does he asked me what to do.

Before i give any advice whats the best possible route?

Pierburg maf, decent panel filter and decat?
