KMB Balance shaft install

KMB Balance shaft install
I'm going to be tackling the task of replacing the Balance shaft and hex drive in my car (just bought the kmb shaft and hex) 2006 2.0 tdi sport (gear drive). Can anyone tell me what spare bolts/seals/circlips i need from VW please..? Ive got:
New shaft and hex
Oil
Filter
Balance shaft locking tool
Sump sealant
Do i need the crank locking tool..?
I'm an aircraft engineer so fairly confident in doing this task, although i've not found a definitive 'How 2' guide anywhere...
